Mulberry Paper, basswood, servos, Arduino, projector, laptop

The Story
It was summer in Tokyo.  I got onto a train and across from me was a business man using a folding fan.  As the air conditioner took over he casually snapped the fan and placed it in the front pocket of his suit.  This simplistic moment became one of my most memorable images while I stayed there.

Construction
I created an interface in p5js and set up a serial connection with an Arduino.  This acted as a controller for the two servos that would dictate the movement of the fan.  The fan used for testing was purchased after that moment in Japan.
