Beam Center — Lighthouse Artist Residency:
Mosquitoes shared the space on the hazy last days of summer. Quiet and with limited amenities, there was a detachment of reality. You can feel the air navigate throughout the house. Light fixtures were hacked, and the faint burr of the fans created an ambience that reflected the island. "Departed" transports you with the acoustically tuned fans and light colliding on the waves of silk.
